Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I am so mad right now, how did I miss it?!

For everyone wondering what on earth I am talking about ..... lol

Basically I bought my first real BW EX card (Zekrom Promo) for my promo collection folder and realised I've been doing EX effects completely, utterly and totally wrong =/

For example :

# Theres next to no reverse holo "streaks" on the cards.
# The "EX" has the old style holosheets on (Rocket set to DPPt)
# The EX rule box again the same as above.
# The entire card itself has the same style "bumpy" texture as the Secret/Super Rare cards (Full Art).
# The Glow Balls as I call them are also slightly holo as well.
# The illustration background (should any show) is the old style holosheet too.

Now I'm wondering if this is promo's only, or are the new BW set EX's the same, can anyone clarify at all?

Let me clear things up. ~Charganium had MOST of it right. Let me list the things off.
- The EX and Pokemon EX rule Box had little circles on them.
- The holofoil is on the "glowballs", the eye of the pokemon, the border, the background, and the bar under the picture.
- The card doesn't have the same "bumpy texture" as the FA EXs and Shinies.
- There is no holofoil on the texture or anything like text, symbols, etc.

I hope this clears things up! ~Charganium was so close! He just forgot some things.

The normal EXes have the reverse holosheet on the border, rule box, bar thing under the picture, and in the picture background. The promo EXes are exactly the same, only they use the normal foil (Team Rocket-CoL.)

Well you know me, like to get as much authentic detail as I can. Only issue is I wasn't aware of these minor differences until the post came lol......

I'm watching some Japanese Dragon Blade/etc EX cards atm, the Mew one is just to die for on the art front. I -will- win that, so will get to see a normal EX :)

hmmmmm,

I can see the reverse holo streaks on the english EX cards that the youtube people show (just about) However they aren't close enough for me to see if there are the normal circle holosheets too... bah lol

Cudos to Nintendo though keeping it harder for actual thiefs who sell the fakes on after printing, this is very complicated and in that regard is great. Bad for us that do it for purely cosmetic viewing haha..
