I don't normally make journal entries for specific people, but db recently asked me if he could print + "holo-atise" a card of mine; to which I was all to happy to ablige! It came out INCREDIBLY well and can't wait to see more

Having some trouble trying to come up with Ancient card type symbols now. Below is what I have and need so far : ( = idea already got, but open to suggestions // = idea aquired but not sure at all // = needs serious help with)

Can you guess what that means for the set after Galactic Frontiers?

I'm playing alot on Age of Empires Online (new update soon) so cards always take a minor backseat for my online gaming. The Galactic card templates are pretty much done now, to the point where I am 99% happy with how they look (the ultra rare ones are especially spangly!)

No idea when they'll start to appear though, as I plan to do all the art myself and for the people that know me ...... I am very specific with that stuff and it takes an age

If it looks like they'll be a very long running set, I'll probably upload blanks as and when I can, then do it that way.

A holofoil Pikachu will be uploaded tomorrow, showing off my rather large new blanks.

These new blanks merge e-cards with todays BW style EX, SR EX, Full Arts etc, with the newest Plasma Gale designs and a new EX rule box (to fit in too)

Pikachu is first, then a full art Lugia afterwards, which took me all day to do! Damn textures and shinies!

We got 8 done so far, with about 8 or 9 spoilers already sent, 8 or so more en route and the odd art.

Any spoilers and/or art is most appreciated, if not no problems, will slowly but surely get there in time

Really didn't want to have to post this, but yet again I'm finding my blanks being used, edited, overlapped with random rubbish, copyrights removed so on and so forth - without permission (as stated on the resource site, blank download read me files, etc)

To that end, I'm leaning towards not releasing anymore blanks in the future to the public. And maybe having them released only by a request-based system.

I'd hate to have to do that as I make them to people to enjoy and such. But if people are only going to mess them around, remove things which they have no permission to do so and then state no credit, or "its theirs" then theres little else I can do.

This isn't in effect as of yet, but if things keep progressing as they are, I may have no choice.

On a slightly more nicer note, my 3D Shiny Volcarona is coming along nicely. I'm having trouble with the card though; can't decide on old circluar holosheet design or reverse holo (aka SR EX style full art shinyness/textures).

I had originally planned my Volcarona art to be 3D with lineart (much like my Groudon one), however........

By accident I hid the lineart layer and saw the 3D part without it and it looked a whooooole heap better. So I'm gonna do without the lineart and make the 3D none line one work, looks alot better this way it seems. Obviously as I was using lineart, the colours I have used are incredibly blocky in places (out of speed cutting them out and being hidden under lines) So its going to take a bit longer to get them sorted.

After that, the dreaded glow balls!

The firey moth of DOOM card is inc soon, have got to get the glow balls done and you all know how picky I am with them!

Slowly......very slowly....

As usual this time of year, its all hands on deck at work, everyone going on holiday (annoying as it is) and time is short

I've been trying to do bits n bobs each day, spending about 30mins to an hour on multiple things at once, so stuff is coming but will take its time. The BW basic blanks however I didn't need to do much too, so they are likely to be uploaded to the resource site pretty soon.

I'm still thinking about WinchFall blank public releases, but I'm not there, "yet"

Recently playing around with a Dragon Slection card scan (japanese Latias card) it occurred to me I might be able to make a proper BW "lines" holosheet for us all.

I've got an idea in my head of a few variations, but I'll have to try and poke around photoshop later to see if they turn out alright. Its gotta be better than the lines we have atm, which don't duplicate "light reflection" etc.

In the meantime, I've uploaded my "circles" holosheet for everyone to play with. Remember Multiply and Color Dodge (sometimes screen and/or color burn filters help too) are key!

So my upload bonanza of all this stuff is going to take a while.

Expecting a call today from BT, so hopefully they'll fix it + I'll yell at them for compensation as its bene nearly a week. 5 days waiting for an engineer for the phone and an extra 2-3 for a callback regarding the net, useless bunch of idiots they really are.
